Haitong Securities completes acquisition of BESI

Haitong Securities Co., Ltd., one of China's oldest and largest investment banking and securities firms with a BBB rating from Standard and Poor's, has completed the acquisition of BESI from Novo Banco.

This acquisition will combine BESI's expertise and multi-regional footprint in developed and developing markets with Haitong Securities' leading market position in Asia, creating a world class investment bank.
