Haitong present at the Private Equity Forum and Awards Gala in Poland

Bartlomiej Dmitruk, Senior Country Officer Haitong Bank in Poland, was one of the speakers at the Private Equity Forum and Awards Gala in Warsaw

The latest edition of this prestigious conference took place on June 6th, 2016. For the seventh time the representatives of the private equity funds and leaders of the capital market discussed the future of the industry and the most important issues for Polish companies and investors.

Bartlomiej Dmitruk took part in a panel dedicated to the internationalisation of Polish companies. He underlined that there is an increasing number of enterprises that have outgrown the Polish market. This also includes start-ups, which are more often launched and developed with global ambitions. There were three panels during the Forum. Invited guests, representing banks and PE funds. Companies debated on, i.e., the factors determining success of a company on international markets, current perspectives for acquiring capital for global development, new technology companies, as well as M&A transactions' landscape.

Mr. Dariusz Rosati, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and a Member of the European Parliament, in an opening key note spoke about challenges for the European Union related to the migrant crisis and Brexit. At the closing of the conference a gala took place where awards were hand out to PE funds, portfolio companies, firms and banks cooperating with the Private Equity sector. Haitong Bank was an official partner of the Forum gala.
