On the occasion of the China B20 Second Joint Taskforce Meeting, a Roundtable will take place on the financing of SME's and its importance worldwide, on the 31st of May in Paris.

The purpose of the Roundtable is to identify synergies between the various recommendations of the B20, analysing how they can support the financing of SMEs in global markets. Business leaders and government representatives discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with issues such as the digital era and digital security, financial innovation, financial inclusion, green finance and financial regulation.

This initiative is co-organised by the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD (BIAC), B20 China, the World SME Forum, and SME Finance Forum, in cooperation with the OECD. It brings together senior representatives of the B20, government, international organisations, SME associations, multinational companies and financial institutions.

Within this forum, discussions are supported by a publication which compiles the views of key speakers in the forum, among them, Hiroki Miyazato, Chairman of Haitong Bank.
