Haitong Banco de Investimento do Brasil (“Haitong”), CNPJ 34.111.187/0001-12, fully complies with the terms and provisions of the “General Law for the Protection of Personal Data” (Law 13,709) and other legislation regarding computer security, processing and storage of data, and through this Notice it informs the basic principles of collection and treatment of personal data of customers, suppliers, business partners, employees and other holders, as well as the guarantee of security and privacy of personal data handled at the Institution.
This Notice provides the necessary information about your rights and obligations and explains how, why and when we process your personal data.
Information We Collect
Haitong processes personal data in compliance with contractual legal obligations, in serving our customers, employees, business partners, suppliers and others.
We request the mandatory and necessary personal data to conduct the procedures related to the relationship with the holders.
We will never collect unnecessary personal data and the data will be treated in accordance with the information provided in this Privacy Notice.
The personal data collected and stored will not be disclosed or shared to third parties, except for legal requirements or for the continuation of operational procedures for the benefit of the holder; supported by prior consent.
The data will be kept in an adequate storage medium for the period necessary for the objectives of the Haitong holder to be achieved and to comply with the legislation.
The holder has the right to access, update, correct or delete his personal data in Haitong, as long as it is supported by the legislation, by simply making the request through the email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Likewise and by the same email, the holder can request information about the processing of personal data in Haitong.
Sharing of personal data
We do not share or disclose any of your personal data without your consent, except for the purposes specified in this Notice or when there is a legal requirement.
Haitong takes all necessary measures and precautions to protect the personal data of the holders, such as unauthorized access, accidental or unlawful alteration, disclosure or destruction of their personal data, using tools and layers of reliable security.
International transfers of personal data
If necessary, Haitong may transfer personal data of its holders to Portugal, the country of the Haitong Headquarters, which has the same standards of protection for personal data as Brazil, protected by the General Data Protection Regulation.
Retention of Personal Data
Personal data is stored and retained for as long as necessary for the purposes of Haitong and the holder to be achieved, either by legal or operational obligation.
Sensitive Personal Data
Haitong may request personal data that is considered sensitive, in order to achieve legal or operational objectives (such as data on minors or on health status - for health insurance or others).
